Dear San Francisco Suites Owners and guests,
Welcome back to the Suites!
We are thrilled that Mayor Breed has allowed hotels to open with limited occupancy.
This means that we can only allow 2 persons in a Suite unless there are small children and that the day of departure your Suite will be out of order for 24 hrs. before housekeeping is allowed to enter the room to clean for the next guest’s arrival.
We also ask that you open all the windows before you check out.
The Board of Directors asks that all owners and guests sign the Hold Harmless agreement which states that you understand that there is a risk of staying at the Suites during the Covid Pandemic and agree to follow the SF Suites Covid Prevention policies and cleaning protocols that are posted on our website and in the link below and agree to release the Suites of liability should you become ill.
In order to protect the guests and staff please be advised of the following protocols suggested by the CDC:
1. Masks are mandatory when entering and departing the property. Also, it is a law in SF that a mask must be worn when you are outside.
2. Please social distance by at least 6 ft. when interacting with others.
3. Wash your hands several times a day, especially when you return from your day.
Arrival:
We are conducting contactless service as much as possible, which means:
1. Staff are not allowed to open doors or touch your belongings.
After the luggage cart is free, the Houseman will disinfect it.
2. At check in,
Your credit card will be disinfected before it is returned to you.
You will sign in on a clip board and receive a sanitized room key which you do not have to return until departure.
No early check in or check outs are allowed in order for Housekeeping to be able to deep clean and sanitize the room before the next guest arrives.
Self- park is available at the SF City Garage on Bush Street for $33.00
Valet park with Imperial at the Fairmont for $52.00 begins on September 17.
3. Entering your room
All windows have been opened and surfaces, light switches, telephone and door knobs have been sanitized. The door is then closed and no staff is allowed to enter until the guest has checked out.
There will be no Housekeeping service during your stay. If you need fresh linens, please place soiled linens in the bag on the bathroom counter and leave outside the front door. Housekeeping will deliver new linens and leave at your door.
Please find a bottle of disinfectant in the bathroom for your use.
Please enjoy the wine hour in your room or on the roof. Please make sure that no more than 5 people are gathering in the gazebo.
All books, magazines, folders have been removed from the room
4. At departure:
Guest room is sanitized and left unoccupied for 24 hours.
It has been suggested that the occupancy should be lowered by 50% to allow for safe distancing.
We are asking that there only be 2 people in the room unless there are small children travelling with their parents.
5. Lobby area
We are not allowed to serve any food, but you can contact the front desk for delivery services.
Gatherings of more than 5 people are not allowed in the lobby area.
Newspapers have been discontinued during the pandemic.
Chess and games have been removed.
6. Board Room
All gatherings, meetings and parties are discontinued during the pandemic
The guest computer has been removed.
A Keurig coffee maker is available if you would like a coffee.
You can also store your luggage in the area.
7. Concierge Staff
Will assist you with the restaurants that have outdoor seating, ideas for entertainment and a list of delivery services.
At this time, the virus seems to be dictating when we will be able to return to normal and enjoy our beautiful City by the Bay.
Please let me or the staff know if there is anything that we can do to make your stay more enjoyable.
We have dearly missed seeing you at the San Francisco Suites.
Welcome home!
Warmest wishes,
Cynthia Reid
