GM letter Call for Nominations and February BOD minutes

December 17, 2023

Dear San Francisco Suites Owners,

It is that delightful time of year when San Francisco turns into a holiday fantasy.

The hotels on Nob Hill are covered in lights, Huntington Park is even showcasing red, green, and white lights wrapped around the trees and bushes, when years ago, the rule was only white lights. The lobby of the Fairmont is full of families gazing at the Gingerbread House while sipping hot chocolate. If you have forgotten a gift, you can buy a box of See’s candies near the Concierge desk. The Ritz Carlton is featuring a gorgeous tree just around the corner. Not to be outdone, the Suites have again been transformed into a Charles Dickens Christmas with new, festive evergreen garlands adorning the mantelpiece and draped around the Concierge desk. The most perfectly shaped Christmas tree is decorated with red and green ornaments while poinsettia plants grace the windowsills and toy Nutcracker soldiers stand guard. Daily hot cider or later in the day a glass of wine is offered in the lobby, where you can sit in front of the crackling fire as Christmas music fills the air.

Strolling down to Union Square, the traditional Christmas tree greets shoppers as ice skaters swirl over the ice at the ice-skating rink and across the street the welcome sight of kittens and puppies in the windows of Macy’s, waiting to be someone’s gift.

The Board has been working very hard to keep the Suites looking elegant so when you return in January, you will find lovely roman shades that have replaced the vinyl blinds.

In March, the BOD Election will be held for one (1) position. Please look below for the link for the Call for Nominations letter, Board application, and Pledge. Applications must be received by February 1, 2023, Link To Call for Nominations

The BOD November 5 minutes are also at this link to BOD Nov. 5th Minutes

I hope everyone received the property tax bill. The 1st installment was due December 12.

Let me know if you did not receive it and I will help print out the bill online for you so that you will not incur late fees and penalties.

Lastly, if you are still looking for a special gift, why not give a gift of experiencing San Francisco for 7 nights a year? Let me know if I can assist you in purchasing a Parlor or a Master Suite at the San Francisco Suites.

Happy Holiday’s everyone and a very Merry Christmas!

Warmest wishes,
Cynthia Reid
