Our comfortable lobby is the social heart of the suites. Guests meet and mingle daily at 4:30 – 6 p.m to enjoy complimentary wine and light Hors d’ oeuvres. Guests enjoy conversation and a glass of sherry, served every evening beginning at 8:00 – 9 p.m.. A magnificent fireplace offers warmth on a chilly evening, and a piano is in the lobby inviting those with musical inclinations to play.
The Board Room just off the lobby is for your use as well. This light and airy room with plenty of windows with views of Powell and Pine Streets is a wonderful setting for business meetings, prearranged lunch, dinner or cocktail receptions, and parties. The kitchen in the Board Room can be utilized by a caterer for your event. The Board Room is available by reservation in advance only
The rooftop gazebo is accessible to all our guests and is a hidden gem overlooking the corner of Powell and Pine. The gazebo offers a view of the hustle and bustle of Nob Hill and is a welcome haven for meals and conversation. The gazebo is enclosed to offer additional comfort to guests even when the weather is anything but sunny.
- SUITE DESCRIPTIONS
The Parlor Suites:
Parlor Suite 10 – Located on the main floor of the building directly across from the Board Room, this parlor is somewhat larger in size than the other parlors. The kitchen is private and not open to the living area. The couch in the living area converts into a bed to accommodate additional guests. Features include sunny windows that face Pine Street and a whirlpool Jacuzzi bathtub/shower combination.
Parlor Suites 23, 33, and 43 – These are traditional parlor suites with windows that face Powell Street. The kitchens feature an open pass bar window into the living area. Each has a traditional bathtub/shower combination and a couch that converts into a bed to accommodate your friends and family.
Parlor Suites 24, 34, and 44 – When rest and relaxation are desired, these quiet and cozy parlors are the best choice. Since the windows do not face any street, these suites have a minimum of traffic noise. There are fewer windows in these parlors and because of the location in the building, 44 receive more natural light than 34; 34 receive more than 24. The floor plans are open and airy, and each has a whirlpool Jacuzzi bathtub/shower combination. A double couch bed is included to accommodate up to four.

The kitchen features an open pass bar window into the living area. Each has a traditional bathtub/shower combination.

The couch in the living area easily converts into a bed for your guests, and each has a whirlpool Jacuzzi bathtub/shower combination.
Master Suites 25, 35, and 45 – These suites offer the “best of both worlds”: The windows in the living area face busy Powell Street, and the Master Bedrooms are located in the back of the suite, offering a comfortable and restful night’s sleep.
